Modern Architecture in Newport Beach & Corona del Mar
LeTourneau Architecture’s design studio is near Fashion Island in Newport Beach, minutes from Corona del Mar, the Flower Streets, Harbor View Hills and Irvine Terrace. Since 2006, founding principal Chris LeTourneau has designed modern homes and renovations across Newport Beach, and he personally leads every project from first sketch through construction.
Oceanfront homes and the Coastal Commission
Building on or near the water in Newport Beach means working through the California Coastal Commission and the City’s coastal development review as well as local planning. We design oceanfront, bayfront and bluff-top homes with those requirements in mind from the first sketch, so setbacks, height limits and public views shape the design from the start rather than cutting it back later.
HOA and community design review
Many Newport Beach neighborhoods have their own architectural review before a project ever reaches the City. We work with community design guidelines and HOA review boards in Irvine Terrace, Cameo Shores, Harbor Ridge and Harbor View Hills, and design homes throughout Corona del Mar, Cameo Highlands, Shore Cliffs, Spyglass Hill, Big Canyon, Dover Shores, Bayshores, Linda Isle and Balboa Island. We prepare drawings, renderings and material boards that make the case clearly, so approvals move without compromising the design.
Architecture and interiors, one hand
We work as both architect and interior designer. Materials, cabinetry, lighting and furniture are designed alongside the architecture, so the finished home is one complete idea.
Our design studio is at 250 Newport Center Drive, Suite 305, near Fashion Island. We work throughout Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach and Orange County.
